Scene Transitions

Scene transitions

The moment between the end of one scene, and the beginning of the next scene is called transition. Scene Transitions allow the writer and the director to convey
story information by virtue of how the scenes can be cut together.

Visual match cut generally refers to two images cut together based on the similarity of content, graphics, shapes, motion, size, a dissolve can also be used instead of a hard cut.

Matching audio segue, matching audio occurs when two similar or matching sound are heard, one after the other to create an unexpected inference, it is similar to the visual match cut.

Audio bridge: when we have an outgoing sound from one scene that continues over new scene/image, to connect the two images or scenes.
